We are registered in England & Wales, company number 08134722, with our registered office at 5 Bobbies Bank, Spring Hill, Whitby, North Yorkshire, YO21 1EF. Our trading address is 20 Skinner Street, Whitby, North Yorkshire, YO21 3AJ.

Using this site

You are welcome to browse the site, request quotes, book visits and contact us. Please do not misuse it, try to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that could damage or disrupt it.

Enquiries, quotes and bookings

The information on this site, including prices and Homecare Plan details, is given in good faith and kept as accurate and up to date as we can. It is not a binding offer.

A quote or a booking becomes a contract between you and us only once we have confirmed it to you in writing, including by email. Prices for work outside a published plan or offer are subject to survey and confirmation. Where a price is shown excluding VAT, we say so.

Homecare Plans and other work

Joining an Abbey Home Care Plan is governed by our separate Abbey Home Care Plan Terms and Conditions. Other work is agreed under its own quote, and the terms of that quote apply to that work.

Online booking

Our online booking runs on a third-party platform, ServiceM8, which opens in a new tab. We are not responsible for the technical operation of that platform, though we are of course responsible for confirming and carrying out any booking made through it.

Intellectual property

The content of this site, including its text, images and design, belongs to us or to our licensors, and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

Liability

We provide this website in good faith and take reasonable care to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example if we add a new feature to the site or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
